    Description

    Technical Services Engineer - Reliability Maintenance Program

    This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. As an interface between internal departments and external providers, you will be responsible for gathering data to evaluate, develop, enhance, and manage the aircrafts' reliability maintenance programs.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Gather and analyze data to identify options to enhance the reliability of our aircraft components.
    2. Manage the reliability maintenance programs daily to support development engineers and maintenance teams in identifying options to improve their products.
    3. Liaise with external parties such as OEMs and regulatory bodies concerning the management and approval of the programs.
    4. Use data to conduct root-cause analysis and evaluate the effectiveness of the programs.
    5. Analyze performance reports and trends, highlight findings, and suggest solutions and proactive changes.
    6. Collaborate with development engineers on defect analysis and reporting to identify causes and solutions.
    7. Generate reports for management, teams, and regulators, including fleet data, performance metrics, and trend data.
    8. Support the Head of Engineering in developing procedures related to the programs.
    9. Coordinate meetings, data flow, and communication regarding the programs with stakeholders such as Engineering Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Flight Operations.
    10. Assist in audit preparations and closure of occurrence reports and findings.
    11. Participate in internal and external meetings and events related to the role.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Aircraft Engineering, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
    • Additional certificates in Project Management, Control, Compliance, Budgeting, and Quality Assurance are advantageous.
    • Proficient in technology systems, Microsoft Office, MRO systems, and web tools.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Work Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years' experience in the aviation industry, including training or internships in airline settings.
    • Knowledge of aircraft airworthiness programs and regulations, such as CAMO requirements.
    • Understanding of aircraft maintenance systems and their relation to maintenance programs.
    • Familiarity with Civil Aviation Authority regulations, preferably GCAA.
    • Ability to measure performance against regulations, contracts, and SLAs.
    • Experience in designing and monitoring policies, procedures, and manuals.
    • Exposure to Quality Assurance and audit practices.
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a results-oriented approach.
