    This position is for our rapidly expanding software portfolio, which will be part of Global Service based in the United Arab Emirates. You will be involved in deployment of a Predictive Analytics based solution, providing consulting and support to the sales of performance management and analytical software, predominantly into the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Power markets.

    You will work with customers to develop models to perform assessments, identify and analyse efficiency problems and early detection of process equipment failure or deviation from optimum performance. You will be required to provide training to customers on best practice modelling approaches and actively provide input to the product development group to continuously enhance the product suite. You will also support the regional Technical Sales Team and Business team in the solution engineering process.

    Responsibilities:


    • Work within a multi-function team to define, develop and deploy Predictive Analytics Models;


    • Provide leadership and guidance to team members by acting as Subject Matter Expert for Process equipment and systems;


    • Gather, revise and create project deliverables in support of project and corporate goals;


    • Provide customer training on the use of the software and champion best practice roll-out;


    • Using your equipment fault-finding skills, provide knowledgeable input for problem resolution to internal and external customers;


    • Give input for continuous improvement of internal process and practice.

    Skills & Qualifications:


    • Masters or BS degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or the equivalent;


    • Significant Experience providing engineering expertise in the application, operation, inspection and maintenance of plant systems and process equipment normally associated with oil & gas facilities and optimizing performance of Chemicals, Oil & Gas facilities (upstream, mid-stream, and/or downstream) and Power Plant;


    • Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance practices (including software packages such as PRiSM or SmartSignal or its equivalent) for major rotating and static equipment such as compressors and pumps with large prime movers (gas turbines, steam turbines & motors), Blowers, fans, fired heaters, pipework, vessels, distillation columns, Transformers, Heat exchangers, (including cryogenics) etc.;


    • Hands on experience with condition-based monitoring for the operating assets, online performance monitoring and diagnostic software solutions;


    • Experience in analysing plant data with real-time data historians such as eDNA or OSI PI or its equivalent;


    • Experience with Real Time Optimisation / Process Simulation / Operator Training Systems / Advanced Process Control;


    • Experience with Predictive Analytics tools, AutoCAD, Diagnostic reports and condition monitoring tools;


    • Expert in developing and endorsing equipment selection/application and sizing studies;


    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and develop relationships both internally and externally and at all levels;


    • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads and frequent changes in priorities.

    • Multiple Language Fluency;


    • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
