Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies required for fitout and joinery projects.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and vendors, and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality of products.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure costeffectiveness and timely delivery of materials.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to determine project requirements and develop procurement strategies to meet project timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and payments.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the procurement process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement to inform decisionmaking and strategy development.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid UAE driving license
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or fitout industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and documentation.
