Our client is seekingan experienced and knowledgeable Senior Networking Installer tojoin their growing ICT team. The successful candidate will beresponsible for the installation and configuration of complexnetworking systems and will work closely with their customers toensure their needs aremet.

• Supervisethe installation and maintenance of equipment and systems.
  
• Installand configure networking equipment, such as routers, switches,firewalls, access points and IP phones.
  
• Ensurethat projects are completed on time & to the higheststandard of workmanship.
  
• Providetechnical training and support to junior technicians.
  
• Communicatewith clients and project managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  
• Conductingquality control inspections to ensure that installations meetindustry standards.
  
• Ensurethat all safety procedures are followed at all times.
  
• Troubleshootand resolve networking issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  
• Workclosely with customers to understand their needs and recommendappropriate solutions.
  
• Preparetechnical reports and documentation for customer projects.
  
• Stay up todate with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.
  
• Keepaccurate records of all installations and maintenance.
  
• Attendingthe site surveys and providing accurate, detailed, and completesite survey reports.
  
• Manage allon-site installation, configurations, setup and training of allrelevant systems, hardware, services and testing the system toensure proper documentation of all related processes.
  
• Closure ofall installations and submission of accurate and complete jobcards.
  
• Responsiblefor following all company policies and procedures as well asensuring all company owned property and equipment is maintained andkept in working order and is always keptsafe.
  

Requirements

• Atleast 5 years of experience in networking installation andconfiguration
  
• Strongknowledge of networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP,DNS, DHCP, VPN and SIP.
  
• Must beable to work independently and not have to be micromanaged.
  
• Mustreside in Johannesburg (Westrand, South or North ofJHB)
  
• Musthave a smart phone & Valid driver slicense.
