We are looking for a dynamic Equipment and Rock Tools Sales Representative for Middle East who has a passion for sales.


The Equipment and Rock Tools Sales Representative will be required to execute Sandvik Rock Tools and Equipment Sales (through dealers or direct) in Middle East with major focus on increasing markets of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Oman and UAE.

The Sales Representative will also implement sales activities (through dealers or direct) to penetrate and develop the business within the Territory.

The role is based in Dubai and requires extensive traveling to countries within Middle East Territory.

Also requires travelling to several countries outside of the Territory to participate in Division meetings, technical and/or commercial trainings and workshops, etc.

The position will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.


Responsibilities:


Your key responsibilities will include the below:

  • Retaining and developing the business (direct or through dealers) with existing customers and generating sales from new customers.
  • Conducting technical and commercial sales activities for Sandvik products and services to direct customers within Territory Middle East.
  • Providing technical and commercial support for Sandvik products and services to dealers within Middle East Territory.
  • Pursuing sales leads, visiting dealers and existing/new customers who may be of strategic importance to the organization.
  • Anticipating and understanding customer needs and matching them with our product offering and services to maximize customer value and sales profit.
  • Responding to enquiries, negotiating prices and delivery times and concluding sales orders to meet revenue targets in consultation with the Sales Manager.
  • Supporting dealers with their inventory management and forecasting.
  • Evaluating claims, running warranty management processes of dealers and direct customers.
  • Collecting and communicating relevant business and market intelligence to Sales Manager by using the applicable systems.
  • Establishing annual, quarterly, monthly or weekly sales plans in consultation with the Sales Manager and prioritizing/scheduling own activities so these targets are met.
Your skills and qualifications


You will possess sales and technical experience in the mining and construction industry (quarries, special foundations, tunneling, waterwells and mines) for at least 2 to 3 years.


In addition, you will possess relevant knowledge of the Mining and Construction industry and key market players in the Region and hold solid sales skills.

You are driven to achieve sales goals and are results oriented. You possess experience and ready to work at site even for an extended period of time.

Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in English, both verbal and written, are prerequisites for this role.


You hold a secondary school degree with relevant experience or a University Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Construction), Geology (Geotechnics) or Economics.

You also hold a driving license and are experienced working with a computer and have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Written and spoken Arabic is a plus.

You will be required to travel extensively for this role and upto 80% of your working time.
