Description
Responsible for overall quality of cost analysis and adherence to project control methodologies to corporate standards. Assures expenditure phasing by each project team. Assures cost control for both contract and internal costs. Carries out cost risk analysis and supports management of reserve utilization (contingency). Assures project budget development and updating. Provides analysis of cost trends, to assist project management in understanding issues early and developing mitigation measures as warranted. Manages the cost engineering team and ensures staff utilized are of the required standard and competencies.
