    Communications Assistant

    • Help implement communicationsstrategies
    • Provide administrative support toprograms and internal teams
    • Draft and editcommunications copy (e.g. press releases, publications, socialmedia posts)
    • Assist in maintaining web contentand executing social media strategies
    • Updatedatabases and media lists
    • Track projects andmedia exposure
    • Facilitate effective internalcommunications
    • Maintain calendars andappointments
    • Prepare presentations andreports

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a CommunicationsAssistant, Communication Specialist or similarrole
    • Understanding of media relations anddigital media strategies
    • Proficient in MSOffice; familiarity with design software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign)and content management systems is a plus
    • Solidediting and researching skills
    • Excellentcommunication abilities (oral andwritten)
    • Strong attention todetail
    • Organizationalskills
    • BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications or arelated field is desired
