Position Overview:


Responsible for overseeing the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electric mobility brand vehicles, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues and following the Fix It Right process.

The role aims to provide a distinctive customer experience, enhance customer retention, and adhere to OEM (EV Brand Corporation) standards.


Primary Responsibilities:

Ø Diagnose complex system faults and conduct preventive maintenance on electric mobility brand vehicles.

Ø Provide support, coaching, and guidance to team members, advising on diagnostic procedures and efficient work processes.

Ø Ensure high-quality work, minimizing return/repeat jobs.


Ø Enhance communication by clearly documenting completed work or required actions for Service Advisors, Technical Advisors, Technical Support, and customers.

Ø Contribute to efficiency improvements by offering constructive input on work processes, procedures, tools, equipment, etc.

Ø Ensure the safety of junior technicians working on electric mobility brand vehicles.

Ø Offer technical input to spare parts staff for accurate part and tool identification and supply.


Ø Maintain a safe work environment in collaboration with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) and provide recommendations as needed.


Key Skills for Success:

Ø Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Ø Comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Ø Familiarity with high-voltage systems and adherence to safety protocols.

Ø Organized approach with effective planning and data-sharing skills.

Ø Strong IT skills and a keen interest in working with mechanical and electric vehicle systems.

Ø Excellent mentoring abilities to support less experienced technicians.


Team Structure:

This position will report directly to the Workshop Manager/Supervisor.


Qualifications:

Ø Technical certification diploma, ITI, ATA, IMI, or equivalent.

Ø IMI EV Level 3 or 4 certification (Advantage/Priority).

Ø Master Technician certification or equivalent industry certification.

Ø In-depth knowledge and experience with EV components and systems (both high and low voltage).

Ø 5-7 years of experience as a Diagnostic Technician in the retail automotive sector.

Ø Valid UAE driving license.
