JOBDESCRIPTION:

• TheDevelopment family is responsible for crafting, designing,deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and softwaresolutions. This may include research, new development, prototyping,modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any otheractivities related to software products used internally orexternally on product platforms supported by the firm. The softwaredevelopment process requires in-depth subject matter expertise inexisting and emerging development methodologies, tools, andprogramming languages. Software Developers work closely withbusiness partners and/or external clients in defining requirementsand implementingsolutions.
  
• TheSoftware Engineering role specializes in planning, detailingtechnical requirements, designing, developing, and testing allsoftware systems and applications for the firm. Works closely witharchitects, product managers, project management, and end-users inthe development and improvement of existing software systems andapplications, proposing and recommending solutions that tacklesophisticated businessproblems.
  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Actas a technical expert on one or more applications applied by thecompany
  
• Workwith the Business System Analyst to ensure designs satisfyfunctionalrequirements
  
• Partnerwith Infrastructure to identify and deploy optimal hostingenvironments
  
• Tuneapplication performance to eliminate and reduceissues
  
• Researchand evaluate technical solutions consistent with company technologystandards
  
• Alignrisk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities tomonitor and mitigate risk; advancesappropriately
  
• Applydifferent software development methodologies dependent on projectneeds
  
• Contributeexpertise to the design of components or individual programs, andparticipate in the construction and functionaltesting
  
• Supportdevelopment teams, testing, fixing, and productionsupport
  
• Createapplications and construct unit test cases that ensure compliancewith functional and non-functionalrequirements
  

Workwith peers to mature ways of working, continuous integration, andcontinuousdelivery

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or relatedfield
  
• 6+years of relatedexperience.
