Job summary
The Guest Experience Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service during their stay. This includes processing guest check-ins, verifying identity and form of payment, assigning rooms and activating/issuing room keys.This role also involves setting up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements, entering Marriott Rewards information and ensuring rates match market codes.
In addition to this the Guest Experience Supervisor must ensure secure payment prior to issuing room key verify/adjust billing compile daily reports/logs/contingency lists complete cashier closing reports supply guests directions property information accommodate guest requests contacting appropriate staff necessary process all payment types vouchers paid-outs charges balance drop receipt count secure bank beginning end shift obtain manual authorizations follow Accounting procedures notify Loss Prevention Security any guest reports theft assist management training evaluating counseling motivating coaching employees serve role model first point contact Guarantee Fair Treatment Open Door Policy process develop/maintain positive working relationships support team reach common goals listen respond appropriately employee concerns follow company policies procedures report accidents injuries unsafe work conditions manager complete safety training certifications maintain confidentiality proprietary information protect company assets welcome acknowledge guests anticipate address service needs assist individuals disabilities thank genuine appreciation speak clear professional language prepare review written documents accurately completely answer telephones using etiquette ensure adherence quality standards enter locate information computers POS systems stand sit walk extended period time move lift carry push pull place objects weighing less than equal pounds assistance perform reasonable duties requested Supervisors Preferred Qualifications Education High school diploma G.E.D equivalent Related Work Experience At least year related work experience Supervisory Experience At least year supervisory experience License Certification None
