AJ Al Asmawi Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced System Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring its optimal performance and security. With your expertise, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting our systems to meet the needs of our growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.
• Perform regular system maintenance activities such as backup administration, patch management, and system updates.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access levels and security.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to plan and implement system upgrades and enhancements.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end users, responding to their queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary measures to protect company data and systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field of system administration.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• In-depth understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like PowerShell or Bash.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC), are a plus.
