- Bachelor's degree inelectrical, electronic or communication systems engineering orsimilar related field.
- An understanding ofprocurement and contracting in a government, or Defence industryenvironment
- High levels of enthusiasm with anoutcome-focus and problem-solving attitude toward theirwork.
- Skills and experience in writingdocumentation conforming to government writingstandards.
- A strong ability to communicate witha range of internal and external engineering, commercial andtechnical stakeholders.
- An ability to pick upnew and complex processes and systemsquickly.
- A high level of competence andexperience in using Microsoft Office applications, in particularWord and Excel formatting, tables and merging ofdocuments.
- NV1 security clearance is essentialfor this role
- Experience using the ASDEFCONsuite.
- Understanding of the One DefenceCapability System (formerly the Capability Life Cycle) and theDefence procurement processes andprocedures.
- Experience working in a DefenceCapability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG)environment.
