The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and efficient operation of our laundry facilities.

This role requires the ability to handle heavy loads, operate laundry equipment, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities:

Laundry Operations: Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures and standards.

Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain laundry equipment including washing machines, dryers, ironing machines, and folding machines. Perform routine maintenance tasks and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents. Replenish supplies as needed and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.

Quality Control: Inspect laundered items for cleanliness, stains, tears, or other damage. Remove items that do not meet quality standards and reroute them for reprocessing or repair.

Organization and Storage: Properly fold, stack, and store laundered items in designated storage areas. Ensure that storage areas are clean, organized, and free from clutter.

Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines at all times to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment. Follow proper handling and disposal procedures for soiled linens and hazardous materials.

Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a courteous and professional manner. Assist guests with laundry-related questions or services as needed.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of laundry tasks. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate activities and resolve issues.


Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of laundry procedures, equipment operation, and cleaning techniques.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or training in laundry operations or housekeeping.
• Experience with industrial laundry equipment and systems.
• Multilingual abilities, particularly proficiency in languages commonly spoken by guests or coworkers.

Pay:
AED1, AED1,300.00 per month
