    Description

    **Job Title:** Microbiological Analyst

    **Location:** On-site in Abu Dhabi

    **Type:** Full-Time / Shift-Based

    **Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled Microbiological Analyst to conduct microbiological analysis of food and environmental samples. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HACCP and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

    **Key Responsibilities:

    • Sample Receipt and Registration: Receive and register food and water samples for microbiological testing.
    • Microbiological Testing: Perform testing procedures such as total plate count, E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria, and other indicator/pathogen detection.
    • Lab Maintenance: Prepare culture media, maintain instruments, and perform calibrations.
    • Result Reporting: Record, validate, and report test results in accordance with SOPs and quality standards.
    • Quality Assurance: Adhere to ISO/IEC 17025 quality system and laboratory biosafety protocols.
    • Client Engagement: Participate in client briefings and VVIP food safety risk evaluations.

    **Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma: In Microbiology, Biology, or related science.
    • Relevant Experience: 2-3 years of lab experience in food or water testing.
    • HACCP and ISO Knowledge: Strong understanding of HACCP and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
    • Additional Advantage: Knowledge of DOH or ESMA microbiological test standards is an advantage.
