Job Purpose

To contribute and support Planning and Business Excellence Department in delivery of strategic and operational business improvement projects across the Al Tayer Group.


  • Functional Responsibilities_

PROJECT MANAGEMENT - PROJECT DELIVERY SUPPORT:

  • Project definition and planning: Support the BE Leads / BE Manager in developing detailed proposals and project charters including defining of scope, outlining the work to be performed, budgetary support, schedule and resources needed.
  • Project execution: Support and contribute in implementation of projects, including but not limited to managing distributed tasks, research, data collection and cleansing, financial / statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, solutions development, process modelling, etc.
  • Project performance and control: Ensure timely execution of project tasks, while adhering to directions from BE Leads / Manager as well as project governance requirements. Support BE Leads in providing periodic status updates to Project Sponsors and key Stakeholders on project status, progress against actual plan.
  • Project close: Work closely with BE Lead / Manager for completion of all project tasks and secure Sponsor approval to outcomes / deliverables, update learnings' log and fulfil adherence to document / knowledge management requirements.
  • Demonstrate team orientation and team dynamics.

Education

  • A fulltime university Masters' degree or equivalent, ideally in Business Studies, Finance or Engineering
  • Would be beneficial to have Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar Quality certifications

Experience

  • 24+ years' experience for a Post Graduate / Masters' with a degree in Business Management
