About the Role


The role holder is responsible for ensuring effective implementation of Marketing activities across the relevant focus area: Events, PR, Social Media, External Communication, Brand Marketing, Social Involvement etc., to support the marketing strategy and objectives of Emirates British Nursery (EBN).


Core Responsibilities:

  • Translates the Marketing objectives into clear, concise and understood briefs; ensures execution as per business standard
  • Coordinates with EBN Business Head and Headmistresses to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives
  • Maintains records of marketing expenses, agency fees and regularly updates management on budget expenditure and overall costs
  • Ensures adherence to EBN brand guidelines (branding layout and display, social media, etc.) in all marketing initiatives
  • Creates and manages a monthly communication summary report to keep EBN Business Head abreast of completed activities
  • Supports in translating and conceptualising EBN mission, vision and values in the education industry using suitable platforms for communication
  • Ensures execution of marketing campaigns within assigned budget/deadline

Social Media:

  • Support social media partner with the Nursery's social media accounts with Facebook and Instagram on daily basis
  • Supports conceptualisation and execution of promotional activities and events through social media channels and social network involvement
  • Maintains and tracks data to analyse and monitor the effectiveness of various aspects of social media campaigns such as community, traffic, conversations and engagements, leads and conversions
  • Creates and manages periodic communication summary report of all social media activities to keep the team abreast of ongoing and completed initiatives
  • Participates in various tasks related to community management and content generation
  • Creates and delivers press releases, media relations content, case studies, executive bios, newsletter content, and other proposals

Events Management:

  • Researches and identifies suitable events opportunities and makes suggestions for the event participation
  • Maintains records of the Nursery's events and initiatives including details on event participation etc., for the purpose of enhancing the parents and leads database

Public Relations:

  • Provides support in executing on the PR strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to improve recognition in the education field, understanding and awareness.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with media and PR agencies
  • Monitors the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, for opportunities for the nursery
Business Development

  • Plans and executes marketing initiatives to enhance social involvement hence, attracting more enrollment and retaining parent's loyalty to EBN
  • To plan nursery campaign initiatives, and drives the implementation across the target market
  • Shares the approved plan with the Headmistresses and integrates them in planning/execution
  • Identifies, develops and executes communications strategy for key media contacts and other relevant references.
  • Researches education industry trends

Self-Management:

  • Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year
  • Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the Business Unit Head and agreeing on the individual development plan which goes beyond just training and development
  • Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth

Criteria:

  • At least 3 to 5 years experience in Marketing preferably in Education Sector
  • Solid experience in Social Media Marketing
  • Experience in PR strategies and campaigns
  • Degree in Marketing or any relevant business degree
  • Has valid UAE driver's license
