    Description
    • Create a detailed work plan whichidentifies and sequences the activities needed to successfullycomplete changes in Contract Logistics/Warehouse.
    • Ensure SOPs for systems are inplace.
    • Support systems & 3rd parties onprojects
    • Determine the resources (time, money,equipment, etc.) required to complete theproject.
    • Develop a schedule for projectcompletion that effectively allocates the resources to theactivities.
    • Review stock management planningrequests to achieve with schedules asrequired.
    • Determine the objectives and measuresupon which the planning teams will be evaluated at itscompletion.
    • Ensure adequate and proper staffingof the areas.
    • In consultation with theappropriate manager, recruit, interview and select staff and/orvolunteers with appropriate skills for the projectactivities.
    • Manage staff and/or volunteersaccording to established policies and practices of theorganisation.
    • Ensure all inventory personnelreceive an appropriate orientation to the organisation and supportcustomer KPIs.
    • Work within the overallstructure to drive improvement.

    Ensure departments areworking per site strategy

    • Ensure the departments are planningaccording to the site plan and develop forms/records to documentactivities.
    • Set up files to ensure that allinformation is appropriately documented andsecured.
    • Monitor the progress of the site spaceand make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successfulcompletion of the peak periods.
    • Establish acommunication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriatestaff in the organisation on stock holding and rackingfill.
    • Review the quality of the work completedwith the customer on a regular basis to ensure that it meets thestandards set out in the contract.

    Put adequate controlmeasures in place for the planning - inventory andProjects.

    • Write reports on for management andcommunicate as outlined in theobjectives.
    • Monitor and approve budgetedexpenditures.
    • Monitor cash flow projections andreport actual cash flow and variance to senior management on aregular basis (monthly/bimonthly).
    • Manage allproject according to established accounting policies andprocedures.
    • Ensure updates of all financialrecords for the project.
    • Prepare supportingdocumentation for senior management in daily and weeklyreports.
