Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the electrical systems onboard our yacht fleet to guarantee optimal functionality and safety.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate electrical issues, both proactively and in response to emergency situations.
  • Conduct repairs, upgrades, and installations of electrical components, wiring, lighting, and control systems.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow engineers, technicians, and boat crews to meet electrical maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and components used for each vessel.
  • Swiftly respond to emergency cases in the marina/harbor to address critical electrical challenges.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices in marine electrical systems.
  • Adhere diligently to safety protocols and regulations throughout electrical maintenance and repair activities.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or certification in electrical work is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Electrician, with a focus on marine electrical systems.
  • Profound understanding of marine electrical systems, components, and wiring.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure, particularly in emergency scenarios.
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaborative abilities.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations within yacht maintenance.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

Marine Electrical Systems: 1 year (preferred)
