Job Summary:

Responsible for providing accounting support to accounting supervisors and other managers within the department. Keys daily worksheets to the general ledger system, ensures files are complete and maintained as needed.


Job Duties and Responisbilities
Verify and enter supplier invoices in oracle system and initiate for approval.

Reconciles inventory accounts payable, accruals and expense payables modules with GL accounts in Oracle system on monthly basis.

Prepare the weekly report by updating various balances with bank on weekly basis.

Preparation of bank internal and external transfer letters and coordinate with the bank for the transfer.

Track the shipments and communicate the same with various departments / management.

Follow up with the bank and suppliers for the original document against each shipment and initiate for the clearing.

Coordinates with the shipping agents, obtain the freight charges and prepares cheque accordingly.

Arrange to collect the delivery order (if required extend the validity) from shipping line, submit import declaration for customs through Dubai Trade.

Makes the DP world payment, if inspection not required, communicates with the driver and prepares the outbound e-token to pick up the cargo from port and inbound e-token to return in port.

Prepare the DOA approval document, maintains a log for tracking the status of the approval.

Coordinates with auditors and provides sample documents required during the audit.

Perform other duties as required.

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

• Accounting: 5 years (preferred)
