Statement of Job

The post holder is responsible for The Club's Salon and all duties that are relevant to that area of The Club's business. It also encompasses overseeing and supervising staff, encouraging them to develop individually and as a team to ensure The Club's high level of service and professionalism is maintained and that financial targets are met. The poster holder is expected to take the role of key stylist of the salon. The post holder will be required to show ability to delegate and develop staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be at senior stylist level, with several years' experience
• Organizing shift rotas on a weekly basis ensuring the correct staffing levels at all times and that all staff are treated equally.
• Ensuring there are sufficient levels of stock and equipment within the Salon and implements effective cost control systems.
• Ensures Salon Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to.
• The Post Holder should be a team player and leader and is responsible for CPD for the team.
• Ensure all Members / Members guests are greeted as per our Standard Operating Procedures with a warm welcome and with the utmost professionalism by all members of the team.
• Monitoring and managing the salon's financial performance, including budgeting, expense control, and revenue tracking. You will be responsible for analyzing financial reports, setting pricing strategies, and maximizing profitability.
• Identifying opportunities for business growth and expansion, such as introducing new services or partnerships. You may also network with local businesses and attend industry events to promote the salon.
• Ensure all telephone calls are answered as per our Standard Operating Procedure.
• Ensure the salon is kept clean and tidy and be kept in accordance with The Club Health and Safety Policy.
• Ensure all sales are accurately recorded.
• The Post Holder must ensure they are able to answer quires about all aspects of The Club.
• Ensure the handling of cash is as per The Clubs standard Operating Procedure.
• Ensure that messages for Management are handled as per The Clubs Standard Operating Procedure.
• Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. This may involve creating promotional offers, managing social media accounts, and coordinating with marketing professionals.

Skills, abilities and competencies required

• Job involves cutting, colouring and other hair services.
• Must be computer literate.
• Have good command of English.
• Needs to be physically fit.
• Must be adaptable.
• Must be able to work in a team as well as work on own initiative.

Job Specification

• Must have relevant and UAE certification for Salon based services, such as hair styling, beauty treatments/and other relevant Salon services.
• Must have at least three-year Salon/Spa Management experience.
• To hold a current and relevant First Aid and CPR qualification.
