Asa Pulmonologist Consultant you will specialize in the diagnosistreatment and management of respiratory diseases and disorders. Youwill provide expert pulmonary care to patients focusing on theprevention evaluation and treatment of conditions such as asthmachronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) interstitial lungdisease lung cancer and sleeprelated breathing disorders. Yourexpertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes enhancingrespiratory health and advancing the field of pulmonology withinourinstitution.

• Conductcomprehensive evaluations of patients with respiratory complaintsincluding cough shortness of breath wheezing chest pain andabnormal chest imagingfindings.
  
• Performdetailed clinical assessments including medical history reviewphysical examination and interpretation of diagnostic tests such aspulmonary function tests imaging studies and sleepstudies.
  
• Developand implement individualized treatment plans tailored to eachpatients specific pulmonary condition incorporating medical therapylifestyle modifications and procedural interventions asappropriate.
  
• Performa wide range of pulmonary procedures including bronchoscopythoracentesis pleural biopsy endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) andadvanced bronchoscopicinterventions.
  
• Utilizeadvanced diagnostic techniques such as bronchial thermoplastynavigational bronchoscopy and transthoracic needle aspiration todiagnose and stage pulmonary diseasesaccurately.
  
• Providecounseling and education to patients and their families regardingrespiratory diseases treatment options smoking cessation pulmonaryrehabilitation and home oxygentherapy.
  
• Collaboratewith multidisciplinary teams including oncologists thoracicsurgeons radiologists and critical care specialists to coordinatecomprehensive care for patients with complex pulmonary conditionssuch as lung cancer and acute respiratoryfailure.
  
• Participatein oncall coverage schedules to provide timely evaluation andmanagement of acute respiratory emergencies such as exacerbationsof COPD acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and pulmonaryembolism.
  
• Engagein clinical research and scholarly activities to advance theunderstanding and treatment of respiratory diseases contributing tothe academic mission of the institution and dissemination ofknowledge in the field ofpulmonology.
  
• Maintainaccurate and timely documentation of patient encounters treatmentplans procedural details and outcomes in electronic medical recordsin compliance with regulatory requirements and institutionalpolicies.
  

Requirements

ExperienceFrom US (Board) Canada (Royal College Fellowship) UK (CCT) Ireland(CSD CSCST) Australia &NZ (Fellowship) France (DES DESC)And Other European Countries According to The QualificationEquivalence Tables of the UAEMOH
Minimum5 yearsexperience in a hospital environmentWestern and Asian countries experience is preferred. Asians withGulf experience arepreferred.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Officesuite
Fluency in written andspoken English
MOH registeredPreferred
Ability to multitaskprioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fastpacedenvironment.
