We are looking for a Welder Fabricator (TIG) to work in the United Kingdom.


Job Overview:

A Welder is responsible for joining metal parts together by using a variety of welding techniques, equipment, and materials.

This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints or welding symbols, ensuring the quality and integrity of welds, and adhering to safety procedures.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, arc, and gas welding.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to plan welding processes.
  • Measure and cut metal materials to the required specifications.
  • Set up welding equipment, including selecting the appropriate welding method and adjusting settings.
  • Weld components using appropriate techniques to achieve strong and durable bonds.
  • Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform maintenance and repair on welding equipment as needed.
  • Follow safety guidelines and wear protective gear, including helmets, gloves, and safety glasses.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve weldingrelated issues as they arise.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Welding certification or vocational training in welding techniques is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a welder, with knowledge of various welding methods and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to work safely in a welding environment.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Problemsolving skills to troubleshoot welding issues.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new welding techniques and technologies.
