    Sector Document Control Lead

    What You'll Be Doing

  • Serves as the sector document control skill head, providing technical guidance to sector Document Control staff assigned to the sector projects and office design teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Conduct new hire orientation for Document Control (DC) staff within the sector, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Supporting project start up activities related to document control.
  • Provide Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) training as required, ensuring all team members are proficient in utilizing relevant tools.
  • Implements document/data management solutions with a primary focus on document control and records management. Administers data/document management applications.
  • Keeps abreast of department technologies, techniques, and services relevant to area of responsibility.
  • Works with the wider DC regional function and Quality Team, as needed to develop and improve services. Responds to changing technology environment and participates in decision making activities relating to customers' needs.
  • Play a key role in implementing Parsons' PAR-Docs, the in-house Document Management System (SharePoint), by facilitating training sessions and ensuring seamless integration.
  • Troubleshoot access issues related to document control systems, collaborating with IT and relevant stakeholders to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Lead the implementation of document retention protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Act as a liaison between different disciplines and business units, facilitating effective communication and collaboration on document control matters.
  • Proactively promote the upgrading of skills among Document Control staff through training programs and continuous learning initiatives.
  • Participate in reviewing procedures, processes and document control plans.
  • Provide trend analysis for document control related data for the sector.
  • Champion Reward and Recognition for quality in assigned sectors.
  • What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 10 years plus experience in related Document Control role required.
