Overview:
As the Project Manager cum Scrum Master at RAKBANK, you will lead the coordination and execution of both internal and vendor-related projects to meet regulatory requirements, resolve customer issues and enhance customer experience for Acquiring related projects

Experience in Acquiring (SKIPLY), MAPS/Clearing/Settlement and CASMEX is mandatory.

Should be able to work in Agile Squad managing all ceremony and delivery of sprints.

Responsibilities:


Project Planning and Execution:


  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for both internal and vendorrelated projects.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure timely and withinbudget delivery.

Vendor Collaboration:


  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, serving as the primary liaison for projectrelated communications and coordination.
  • Collaborate with vendors to define project milestones, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and status updates with vendors to track progress, address issues, and drive resolution of technical challenges.

Internal Team Management:


  • Lead and motivate internal project teams assigned on the project.
  • Ensure clear communication of project goals, roles, and responsibilities among team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives, technical standards, and best practices.

Technical Expertise:


  • Possess a deep understanding of Prime system, payment processing technologies, and vendor integrations.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams and vendors, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical architects and vendors to design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure solutions for system enhancements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendor to plan and execute release activities, manage dependencies, and minimize disruption to business operations.

Stakeholder Management:


  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and senior management, to ensure alignment of project objectives with business goals.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders, both internally and externally, through regular meetings, reports, and presentations.
  • Address stakeholder concerns and prioritize requirements to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

Quality Assurance and Testing:


  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) activities with internal teams and vendors, gathering feedback and facilitating resolution of issues or defects identified during testing.

Change Management:


  • Manage change requests and assess their impact on project scope, schedule, and vendor commitments.

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including requirements, technical specifications, test plans, etc.
  • Generate regular project status reports and keep the project management system up to date regularly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a technical project manager in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of Merchant management systems, Clearing and settlement, payment processing technologies, and vendor integration strategies.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems, make datadriven decisions, and prioritize tasks based on business impact.
