    This Company generates forwardlooking financial statementsfor future investments partnerships and portfolio adjustments suchas carveouts and divestitures. These statements align withinvestment projections and leverage established processes andtechnologies for regular financial reporting. Proforma financialsare crucial for the overall financial planning of the This CompanyGroup safeguarding debt capacity and maintaining a robust agencyrating.

    This Company engages in numerous jointventure agreements both in Saudi Arabia and overseas. Theseagreements have significant accounting implications includingControl Concept and embedded derivatives. In KSAbased partnershipsalignment with This Companys group strategy is essential andcontract terms should include governance and controlprocedures.

    The individual in this role plays apivotal part in ensuring that current and future partnershipagreements meet This Companys Management and Controllershiprequirements and strategic objectives. This involves indepthanalysis to identify potential adjustments needed to establish orregain control and mitigate P&L risks particularly concerningembedded derivatives. The incumbent collaborates with This Companysnegotiation team and Legal to safeguard the companys assets andinterests while aligning with external auditors.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Provide expert knowhow and governance regarding M&Adivestitures integration accounting and restructuring.
    • Research accounting literature and apply technicalstandards to complex business issues and transactions includingbusiness combinations and impairment valuations.
    • Assess and analyze JVs contracts and propose accountingconsequences including options to mitigate risks and assess controlopportunities in existing contracts.
    • Abilityto apply financial modeling tools to run valuation numbers toprovide financial advice in a number of businesses and pro formabalance sheets.
    • Coordinate accountingintegration of M&A transactions and provide advice includingconversion to This Company accounting standards harmonization ofchart of accounts integration into This Company accountingprocesses and systems.
    • Prepare CarveOutFinancial Statements Standalone Statements Proforma Statements andprospectus support.
    • Coordinate accountingpreparation of divestitures and provide advice includingpreparation of carveout financial statements.
    • Provide due diligence support Purchase Price Allocationsand principles of pushdown accounting.
    • Work onlegal entity portfolio and master data design (central legal entityrepository).
    • Act as a point of contact forexternal auditors on any technical accounting matters related tocontrol assessment.
    • Prepare or reviewtechnical accounting papers related to controlassessment.
    • Collaborate with JV affairs ontechnical accounting matters and preparation of Statutory Financialstatements of the various This Company subsidiaries andassociates.
    • Serve as a Center of Excellence(CoE) for IFRS 3 IFRS 10 IFRS 11 IAS 27 IAS 36 and IAS37.
    • Responsible for providing expert technicalaccounting advice and guidance including implementing new changesrequirements and improvements. Also provide advice on the potentialimplications of any regulatory changes.
    • Leadall the technical accounting preparation for the team advise thecommercial teams and prepare accounting policies following acceptedindustry practices.
    • For the annual and interimfinancial statements participate in preparing the policies sectionin This Companys interest advise on disclosure requirements andensure compliance with the latest IFRS requirements forpresentation of investments divestments and other portfoliochanges.
    • Assess prepare impact and implementnew regulatory and reporting standards and amendmentsthereto.
    • Participate in the statutoryreporting and group reporting templates to ensure they are up todate.
    • Improve the organizations documentationof policies and procedures to enhance the quality of financialreporting.
    • Prepare review or coordinate theupdated Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) for impairmenttesting and align with stakeholders (auditor business andcontrollers).

    Requirements

    • Relocation:Permanent relocation to Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
    • 10 years of Big 4 experience as a technical accountingand financial auditor.
    • Desirable completion ofa Masters degree in accounting/auditing.
    • Professional qualification of CPA CA or ACCA.
    • Demonstrable IFRS expertise particularly on technicalstandards (IFRS 9 IFRS 10 IFRS 11 IAS 28 IAS 19 IAS 36 IFRS 16 IFRS15).
    • PostCPA qualification experience of 5years.
    • Technical training in Big 4 audit firmswith a background in audit financial statement preparation/reviewand technical accounting advisory.
    • Expertknowledge of Mergers Acquisitions Divestitures & Integration(MADI).
    • Strong business acumen and analyticalskills; knowledge of the chemical industry is a plus.
    • Expertise in standard accounting practices with a solidfoundation in IFRS.
    • Proficiency in corporategovernance and internal control frameworks.
    • Financial modeling and pro forma balance sheetpreparation.
    • Strong team player with theability to work collaboratively.
    • Goodunderstanding of corporate risk management.
    • Advanced organizational skills and task managementabilities.
    • Strong communication andpresentation skills including the ability to provide training tothe finance community at the regional/polar level and build anetwork within the organization.
    • Experience inprocesses governance frameworks risk management and changemanagement.
    • Experience in organizationalintegration projects and an understanding of and support fororganizational climate/culture.
    • Experience inparticipating in largescale projects with demonstrated projectplanning and execution skills.
