    KeyResponsibilities

    • Developand maintain a deep understanding of the Housing, Economic, andCommunity Development Market including the needs and challengesfacing local governments and communityorganizations.
    • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert(SME) for every aspect of Housing Choice Voucher and Housing andCommunity Development programs orprocesses.
    • Identify new business opportunitiesand pursue those opportunities through effective relationshipmanagement and sales strategies.
    • Collaboratewith internal teams to support individual salescycles.
    • Manage the sales process from leadgeneration to contract negotiation andclosing.
    • Aggressively grow pipeline throughoutbound activity including emails, cold-calling and attendingindustry conferences.
    • Develop and implementaccount plans and sales strategies to achieve revenuetargets.
    • Stay up to date with industry trendsand best practices and share that knowledge with clients andinternal teams.
    • Provide demonstrations of theHousing, Economic, and Community Development solution to potentialclients.
    • Prepare professional customerproposals and respond to RFP's.
    • Workclosely with the SVP of Sales to attain sales goals and growcompany presence in the Housing, Economic, and CommunityDevelopment Market
    • Advise new and existingclients on new solutions to grow Housing, Economic, and CommunityDevelopment sales.
    • Diligently mange yourterritory activity using our CRM.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in businessor a related field and/or equivalentexperience.
    • 5+ years of experience with HousingChoice Vouchers (HCV) and/or Public Housing Authority(PHA)
    • Experience running a Housing CommunityDevelopment program.
    • Passion for helping localgovernments and community organizations improve outcomes throughthe use of technology.
    • Demonstrated trackrecord of building and maintaining long-term clientrelationships.
    • Experience working in the publicsector in a software sales or account managementrole.
    • Proven ability to identify and pursue newbusiness opportunities.
    • Excellent interpersonalverbal and written communication skills, with the ability tocollaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders andteams
    • Familiarity with CRM and projectmanagement tools.
    • Ability to travel up to 30%and/or as needed to meet with stakeholders and attend industryevents.
    • Demonstrated ability to thinkstrategically and develop and execute effective salesplans.
    • Strong analytical and presentationskills.

    Bonus

    • 7+ years of experience Software salesor account management.
    • Knowledge of softwaredevelopment methodologies and bestpractices.
    • Demonstrated ability to thinkstrategically and develop and execute effective salesplans.
    • Proven ability to negotiate contractsand close sales.
    • Experience managing bothmedium and long sales cycles (3 months - 1year).
