Description

Automotive service advisors are professionals who act as liaisons between customers and the auto technicians who work on their vehicles.

When taking your car in for a repair, this is often the first person you will come in contact with.

They complete a wide variety of tasks, from welcoming and assisting customers to manage quotes to working with technicians throughout the repair process.

• Greet and develop an ongoing relationship with customers
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Customer Waiting areas and Service Desk
• Help customers care for and maintain their vehicles
• Set up service appointments that align with the customer and technicians' schedules
• Serve as liaison between the service manager, shop foreman, parts personnel, technicians, and warranty administration
• Support company goals for service by generating high sales of services and parts
• Pulling vehicles into the Service Center as assigned
• Preparing Estimates
• Checking the vehicle history repair upon receiving it in the workshop at any time through verification by the workshop software system.
• Provide customers with information on part warranties and potential savings
• Identify repeat repairs in the customer's best interest
• Assure the customer's approval on the job to be performed by taking his signature on the job card or quotation.
• Work with technicians to determine necessary repairs and possible alternatives to cut costs for the customer
• Write and verify accurate repair orders and include supporting documentation
• Make sure all jobs are done and supervise the cleaning of vehicles before delivery.
• Contact customers to keep them in the loop throughout the repair process and communicate when the vehicle is ready for pickup.
• Retail Cashier Duties
• Initiate work orders and invoices
• Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and Safety policies/procedures

Required to have a bachelor's degree and multiple years of experience working in the automotive industry, speak and write English.
