    • Maintain accurate records ofmaterial purchased, costs, anddeliveries.
    • Shorten lead times for procurementand production related items.
    • Resolve supplierinquiries and disputes.
    • Establish purchaseorders with vendors, track deliveries and orderconfirmations.
    • Analyze and identifyalternatives leading to cost reduction, improve efficiency andprocess improvements.
    • Research and recommendbetter source of material and cost-savingopportunities.
    • Make sure material procurementpractices are conducted within the organization'squality, safety, and ethical standards.
    • Monitormaterial inventory for various activities like initial stockcounts,cycle counts, re-order points, and ABCanalyses.
    • Collaborate with management and otherdepartments to ensure a smoothworkflow.
