Description

1.1.1 Assist the Financial Controller with inthe preparation of all reporting requirements regardless ofreporting frequency including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly,annual and ad-hoc.

1.1.2 Ensure informationpresented in all reports is accurate and reflective of actualbusiness transactions.

1.1.3 Ensure allreports are prepared on a timely basis, meeting all deadlines setby Statutory Bodies, Owning Company and BrandManager.

Controls

1.1.4Conduct surprise spot-checks on General Cashier's floaton a periodic basis.

1.1.5 Conduct surprisespot-checks on all Outlet Cashier's float on a periodicbasis in addition to spot-check performed by the GeneralCashier.

1.1.6 Conduct surprise stock-countinspection in addition to/ during the month-end stock-countconducted by the Cost Controller'soffice.

Audit, Taxation and Statutory Bodies(where applicable)

1.1.7 Assist in thepreparation of all groundwork required for all statutory audit andtax requirements.

1.1.8 Provide assistanceduring the audit (internal and external) reviewprocess.

1.1.9 Administer all tax filing andgovernment reporting procedures to ensure accurate, timelyinformation is provided in compliance with laws andregulations.

Budget &Forecast

1.1.10 Assist the FinancialController in the preparation of the annual budgets and monthlyforecasts as required.

1.1.12 Ensuresall revenue and receipt transactions are properly accounted for anddeposited into banks.

1.1.13 Reviewssummaries, reports and journals prepared by Revenue Auditor andNight Auditor.

1.1.14 Checks Daily HotelRevenue Report.


1.1.15Supervises Accounts PayableSection
1.1.16 Oversees timelyarrangements of payments by cheques, bank auto pays &remittances.

1.1.17 Ensures payments areproperly supported &authorized.

1.1.18 Reviews cheque register,vendor listing, creditors log and reports.
