    Job Description:

    Parsons is looking for an amazinglytalented Sr. Planning Engineer to join our teamto perform planning and scheduling role on major RTAprojects .

    What Youll Be Doing:

    • Review and convey Engineers consentto the Contractors Baseline schedule of works in line with Contractconditions and using Parsons Recommended Practices.
    • Validation ofcompatibility of project resources for timely completion of theproject.
    • Develop MasterSchedule integrating multiple packages considering theirinterdependencies to identify and reflect the impact of oneschedule/project on others.
    • Strong foreseeability to identify the potentialrisks/conflicts and document them in the Project Risk Register.
    • Evaluate & verifythe planning and scheduling information from the updated / progressschedules. Identify the potential areas of delay/slippage highlightthe critical events & suggest mitigation measures /corrective actions / robust recovery plan.
    • Exercise What if analysis to assess the timeimpact of each change variation and potential event at an earlystage and provide alternative courses of action & advicebefore issuing instructions to contractors.
    • Prepare regular progress reports / monthlyreports with program analysis and recommendations addressingprogram issues to ensure timely project completion and preparingpresentations regarding the works progress concerning interim andmajor milestones.
    • Detailedassessment of the claims including Extension of Time Disruption etcusing leading delay analysis methodologies including time impactanalysis & window analysis with the strong skill todemonstrate the contractors concurrent delay.
    • Discuss coordinate and resolve the planning andscheduling problems with the contractor and the Employer.
    • Coordination with theClient to finalize the contractors programs reports and claims.
    • Attending various meetingsincluding kickoff technical service coordination progress reviewetc providing valuable inputs and preparing concise &precise minutes of meetings.
    • Preparation of Trackers / Logs to monitorcritical issues during the Design and Construction stages of theProject.
    • Agree on theprogress measurement system (PMS) and key indicators with theconsultants/contractors during the project for monitoring purposes.
    • Ability to communicateclearly to conduct presentations to management and interfaceeffectively with a diverse group of professionals. Provide thereasoned & analytic response to the contractor notices anddetailed particulars using programming data sound constructionpractices and contractual provisions.
    • Proper record keeping of project contemporaryrecords.
    • Issue delaynotices for the contractors culpable delay and/or slow performanceletters recording areas where the contractors performance is behindthe schedule.
    • Be able tomanage a team of one or more planning engineers providing them withtechnical and leadership skills.

    What RequiredSkills Youll Bring:

    • Bachelors degree in civil engineering orconstruction management from a recognized university/institution.
    • Minimum 10 years ofexperience in planning and scheduling on relevant projects.
    • Successful applicantsshould have extensive experience in working on major infrastructureprojects comprising development / improvement of interchangehighway underpass bridge utilities etc. coupled with an excellentoverall understanding of the construction industry along withinterface and coordination requirements.
    • Proficiency in scheduling software particularlyPrimavera P6.
    • Good writtenand oral communication skills.

    What DesiredSkills Youll Bring:

    • Prior experience on RTA Dubai projects would bean advantage.
    • Thoroughknowledge of industry best practices and regulations.
