Scope:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating contracts specially for information and communications technology (ICT & System Integration) goods and services.

Responsibilities typically include vendor management, contract negotiation, Framework agreements, and ensuring that procured technology meets the organization's needs and standards.

This role often requires a combination of technical knowledge, negotiation skills, and project management abilities.

This includes utilizing various resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and internal departments to deliver projects according to plan, timescale & budgetary targets.

Responsibilities:
Review Purchase Request (PR) and Scope of Work (SOW) specifications with requesters and end users to ensure accuracy and completeness with regards to acquisition and technical applicationsSource and procure ICT hardware, software, and services from various vendors, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely deliveryDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing and termsCollaborate with internal Business Units to understand their ICT needs and requirements, providing guidance and recommendations on procurement strategiesConduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutionsManage the procurement process from requisition to receipt, including purchase order creation, order tracking, and invoice reconciliationEvaluate supplier performance and conduct regular vendor assessments to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level agreementsResolve any procurement-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner, working closely with vendors, internal teams, and Business UnitsLead pre-bid Requirements and prepare and send invitations to Tender, Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotations (RFQ) to Vendors, E Sourcing and E Auctions along with preparing technical and commercial evaluationsAccomplish procurement and contract administration duties during vendor execution including but not limited to the follow-up on deliveries of goods and services, coordinating & resolving non-conformances (returns, shortages, delay in deliveries and quality issues), preparing expediting/penalty reports as per the company policy and vendor's payment, and maintaining good end user relationshipsDevelop new vendors, obtain pricing information, and conduct market surveys for proposal development and management initiativesResponsible for ensuring timely turnaround for procurement procedures (As per set KPI's)

Support department by taking more responsibilities and categories to fulfill the company requirementsMaintain & update procurement records and documentation, ensuring accuracy & compliance with Transguard Group PoliciesSkillsKnowledge and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related fieldPreferably with proven experience (5+ years) as a Buyer in Facility Management Industries especially in ICT & System Integration requirementsSkills – HardStrong understanding of ICT products, Software's, services, and market trendsProficiency in procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems and supplier management platformsSkills – SoftExcellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
