Description

• Reports to the PPM Engineerregarding daily work progress.
• Carry outassignments on the Preventive Maintenance Programme for the guestrooms.
• Perform general maintenance toguestrooms and public area.
• Report any severedamages to the attention of hissuperior.
• Repair of minor fixtures fittingslike doors, door lock, latches, windows etc. in the guestroom.
• Carry out general plumbing maintenanceand repair works.
• Bathroom grouting and siliconfilling in the guest rooms.
• Carry out minorpainting and polishing touch to the walls, furniture in the guestrooms.
• Servicing the electrical DB in the room,changing fused bulbs and cleaning thelamps.
• Clean the FCU filters, and service theunit if necessary.
• Carry out all the workmentioned in preventive maintenance checklist.
• Carries out all other tasks assigned tohim by his supervisor.
• Assist other engineeringpersonnel in regards to preventive maintenance whenrequired.
• Consistently offers professional,engaging and friendly service
• Must have theability to do the multi-task.
• Ensure that alljobs undertaken are finished with a high quality and with thedesired finish that is required
• Ensure that allmaterials required to perform the job are available beforecommencing work
• Follows all safety rules andregulations in job, departmental procedures andinstructions.
• Maintain the documents forcompleted rooms and task, should be readily available wheneverasked by his superior.
• To observe cleanlinessat the place of work and on the job after completion ofwork.
• To ensure cleanliness of appearance anduniform, particularly when working in guest areas.

• Ability to communicate effectively inEnglish, (verbal and written).
  

Qualifications

• Should have a diploma /TradeCertificate or apprenticeship in general maintenanceworks.
