    Job Title - Site Civil Engineer

    About the Role

    We are looking for a hands-on and technically competent Site Civil Engineer to manage and supervise civil works for fit-out, renovation and construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure site execution aligns with structural and architectural drawings, maintain quality and safety standards, and work closely with subcontractors and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

    Key Responsibilities

    Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities on site, especially for fit-out projects, ensuring work is carried out per approved drawings, specifications and project plans.

    Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to assist with execution and ensure compliance with design intent.

    Manage subcontractors, labor teams and vendors to maintain productivity and quality.

    Conduct regular site inspections, enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) protocols, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

    Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to plan material delivery, ensure timely availability, and minimise site delays.

    Monitor and report on project progress, maintain daily logs, prepare site reports, and update project managers on delays, risks or issues.

    Participate in quality control by reviewing material submittals, method statements, and workmanship to ensure high standards.

    Provide technical support and problem-solving on site, addressing issues related to civil construction, finishes or unexpected challenges.

    Support planning efforts by helping align site work with project schedules, resource plans and cost targets.

    Ensure proper documentation, including site diaries, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.

    Qualifications & Experience

    Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

    36 years experience in civil engineering on construction or fit-out projects in the UAE or GCC.

    Strong knowledge of fit-out construction practices (finishes, joinery, structural integration).

    Proficiency with AutoCAD and construction documentation; familiarity with site-management tools and project scheduling is advantageous.

    Good understanding of local building regulations, safety standards and quality control procedures.

    Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to work on-site, often in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple stakeholders.
