    • Establish systems and proceduresto ensure that Process engineering deliverables generated globallyby the process engineering teams meet the project requirements interms of technical content.
    • Manage thediscipline proposal team and perform all activities such as processsimulation, review of key process engineering documents, issue ofTQs for clarification of tender requirements, FEED Verification,review of process performance guarantee parameters, preparation oftechnical write-ups and estimation of Chemical/Catalyst quantities,etc.
    • Guide the Discipline project team incarrying out contract review, establish list of engineeringdeliverables and technical requirements for the development of theTechnical Document Register (TDR) and the Procurement Register.Review design for compliance with corporate specifications,contract requirements and international codes andstandards.
    • Assume overall responsibility fordelivery of process engineering on a project and ensure quality andtimely release of deliverables. Build rapport with client, attendproject meetings and meeting with clients, review and monitor keyprocess engineering deliverables like design basis, criticalcalculations, and other engineering activities. Monitor theprogress of a project and provide technical support in thecompletion of all engineering deliverables as per project schedule.Discipline Manager could be assigned as process lead on largeprojects.
    • Proactively identify and mitigatetechnical risks during proposal/project stage. Consult with HOD andarrange for peer reviews and/or third-party verification/studies asrequired.
    • Promote value engineering and providecost effective solutions maintaining quality while meeting withproject specifications and not compromising designintegrity.
    • Coordinate engineering activitieswith other engineering departments.
    • Managechanges efficiently and ensure the changes are communicatedsystematically to other disciplines withoutdelay.
    • Interface and frequent meet with clientand vendor representatives, head internal staff and kickoffmeetings, ensure the progress of work within allotted man hours andbudgeted costs. Coordinate with projects and planning departmentson schedule related issues.
    • Determine trainingand development requirements; confer with supervisory levelpersonnel in the identification of skill gaps and training needs.Mentor and motivate assigned staff.
    • Analyzetechnology trends; recommend upgrades of systems and procedureswhen required. Assess, identify and develop technical tools,conduct presentations and seminars to update and improve thequality of engineering deliverables.

    EssentialQualifications And Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree inChemical Engineering with a minimum of 20 years of relevantexperience Preferably with EPC companies in the Oil and Gas,Refinery, Petrochemical Industry or reputed engineering consultancyorganizations.
    • Experience working with EPCprojects of licensed units.
    • In depth exposureto EPC environments of Detailed Engineeringprojects.
    • Knowledge in the use of engineeringsoftware & interpretation ofresults.
    • In-depth knowledge of internationalcodes & standards.
    • Thorough knowledgeof Safety and Quality Procedures.
    • Performindependent integrity reviews.
    • Alertness andattention to detail.
