Strategic Responsibilities

  • Provides management information and insights on all dimensions of business performance to facilitate discussion and decision making, both on a periodic basis and for adhoc management requests.
  • Provides inputs and supports the preparation of the annual budget for own department, tracks expenditure and ensures adherence to the budget.
  • Supports the development of the workforce plan for own department by providing inputs based on workload analysis and forecasting trends.
  • Assists in the implementation of Otis's vision, mission and cultural values across all employee groups in the department.
  • Implements and monitors approved department policies, procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, costeffective services.
Core Responsibilities

  • Prepares the financial analysis for monthly management reports, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and long term strategic plans for all Otis
  • Middle East entities.
  • Monitors key business indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of change or negative variances and provide recommendations to management to facilitate decision making.
  • Executes benchmarking analysis, financial analysis, commentaries and presentations for executive review meetings including regional/EMEA reviews.
  • Responsible for reporting on Otis
  • Entity's business & variance analysis of financial results, planning updates, management highlights and development of pipeline projects status updates.
  • Drive controls on the annual budget and strategic plan processes including agreement on assumptions, consolidation, analyzing Otis
  • Entity's submissions, communicating financial targets and strategic plan platforms.
  • Prepares executive story boarding, business review presentations, management updates on forecasts, budgets & strategic financial plan.
  • Manages the monthly and quarterly financial forecasting and reporting process for all Otis
  • Middle East entities.
  • Participates in the development of complex financial models for consolidation and variance analysis, what if scenarios/sensitivity analysis based on business drivers.
Self-Management

  • Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.
  • Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.
  • Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.
  • Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
  • Master's degree in Finance/Accounting is preferred
Professional Certifications

  • Relevant certification such as Chartered Certified Accountant (CCA) or equivalent is preferred
Years of Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in performing financial planning at an enterprise level for a matrixed organization
Language Skills

  • Fluent written and spoken English essential, Arabic preferred
