Job Description we are seeking a Automotive technician who will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.

They use their technical expertise to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation.

• Perform diagnostic tests using specialized tools and equipment to identify problems with engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
• Repair or replace faulty components and systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and exhaust systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks, to ensure vehicles are operating at optimal levels.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems, including wiring, sensors, ignition systems, and onboard computer systems.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to assess safety and emissions compliance, identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Interact with customers to understand their concerns, explain necessary repairs, and provide cost estimates for services.
• Communicate effectively to convey technical information in an understandable manner.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and repairs conducted.
• Generate and explain repair orders and invoices to customers.
• Specialize in specific vehicle systems or components, such as engines, transmissions, or electronics, as experience and expertise grow.
• Properly use and maintain a variety of tools, diagnostic equipment, and computer software specific to the automotive industry.
• Adhere to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards while performing repairs and maintenance.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, industry trends, and repair techniques through training and continuing education. Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent .
• Relevant certifications
• Strong mechanical and technical skills, including knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and diagnostic codes.
• Physical stamina and dexterity for performing tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues
