We're hiring for a well known Construction Company in Sharjah:
A Store Keeper with 6 years of experience in construction industry in UAE.


Responsibilities:


Execute all storekeeping functions in line with the company policies and procedure to meet procurement and storekeeping objectives aimed at excelling customer delivery and satisfaction.


Job Description:


  • Plans and performs work that involves ordering, receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, packing, labeling, pricing, delivering.
  • Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location
  • Report damaged or missing inventory to immediate supervisor
  • Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
  • Move materials from facilities to workstations, pickup locations, or other locations
  • Wear safety gear at all times
  • Supervise the offloading of incoming materials carry out physical inspection and physical count to verify quantity and quality in line with the requirements mentioned on the purchase orders
  • Arrange for inspection, if required complete the inspection prior to receiving the materials
  • Keep raw material spares finished products and other stock items well stacked in the designated storage area
  • All the store materials should be easily accessible and safely handled as per HSE guidelines standards and procedures.
  • Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles
  • Work as an active team member to complete team goals
  • Prepare documentation and inventory for audits
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies, report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
  • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom if any
  • Process inventory for delivery
  • Preferably knows how to speak English and Hindi

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Six years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, and recordkeeping
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
  • Must be physically fit and perform continuous standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
  • Knowledge of storekeeping and inventory control procedures, recordkeeping and other clerical procedures, safety and security practices; basic mechanical concepts.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus

Salary:
AED2, AED2,700.00 per month
