    من المتوقع أن يكون لدى المرشح التزام قوي بالتميز في التدريس وتقديم المشورة للطلاب على مستوى البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا ، و لديه قدرة بحثية مثبتة من شأنها أن تمكن المرشح من تطوير واستدامة برنامج بحثي ممول في مجال خبرته ، ونشر نتائج أبحاثهم في المجلات المحكمة ، والمشاركة بنشاط في تعزيز نمو الكلية والجامعة. يجب أن يتضمن ملف الطلب خطاب تعريفي، وسيرة ذاتية مفصلة ، ووصفا موجزا للأنشطة البحثية الحالية / المستقبلية ، وفلسفة التدريس ، والدورات التي يتم تدريسها. 

    اللغة االعربية هي لغة التدريس والتواصل و لكن يجب أن يكون المتقدم متمكن من التواصل باللغة إنجليزية كتابة و مخاطبة.

    يتوقع من المرشح الناجح:

    1. تدريس المقررات على مستوى البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا.
    2. المساهمة في الأنشطة البحثية وبدء المشاريع البحثية التي تؤدي إلى منشورات فعالة في المجلات ذات التصنيف العالي وبراءات الاختراع
    3. الإشراف على المشاريع البحثية والرسائل الجامعية لطلبة الدراسات العليا (ماجستير/دكتوراه)
    4. المساهمة في تطوير المقررات والبرامج (على مستوى البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا) التي تقدمها الكلية.
    5. المشاركة في عمليات الاعتماد الأكاديمي وخاصة المتعلقة بمتطلبات لجنة الإعتماد الأكاديمي في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
    6. أداء جميع المهام الإدارية الموكلة من قبل البرنامج / القسم والكلية والجامعة.
    7. المشاركة بفعالية في مبادرات خدمة المجتمع على مستوى الفعاليات أو تقديم الخدمات الإستشارية.
    8. توجيه وتقديم المشورة و الإشراف الأكاديمي على الطلاب.

    المؤهلات و الشهادات   

    بكالوريوس الآداب  في التاريخ,

    ماجستير الآداب في التاريخ

    دكتوراه في التاريخ أو ما يعادلها

    The candidate is expected to have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and advising students at the undergraduate and graduate levels and has a proven research capacity that will enable the candidate to develop and sustain a funded research program in his/her area of expertise, publish their research findings in peer-reviewed journals, and actively participate in promoting college and university growth. The application file should include a cover letter, a detailed CV, a brief description of current/future research activities, teaching philosophy, and courses taught. Arabic is the language of instruction and communication, but the applicant must be able to communicate in written and spoken English.

    A successful candidate is expected to: 

    1. Teaching courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 
    2. Contribute to research activities and initiate research projects that lead to effective publications in highly rated journals and patents 
    3. Supervising research projects and university theses for graduate students (Master/PhD)
    4. Contribute to the development of courses and programs (at the undergraduate and graduate levels) offered by the college. 
    5. Participate in academic accreditation processes, especially those related to the requirements of the Commission for Academic Accreditation in the United Arab Emirates. 
    6. Perform all administrative tasks assigned by the program/department, college and university.
    7. Actively participate in community service initiatives at the level of events or provide advisory services. 
    8. Guidance, advising and academic supervision of students.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor Of Arts in History, 

    Master of Arts in History 

    PhD in history or equivalent
