    Our client is a Private TertiaryEducation Institute. The Campus BusinessDevelopment Manager oversees developing business solutions.

    THEMAIN GOAL IS TO GENERATE MORE REVENUE FOR THE CAMPUS. The positionwill manage client accounts and develop business. This includes newsales strategies, sales pitches, and businessplans.

    The CBDM will prospect new businessby advertising, cold calling, networking, or other methods ofproducing interest from potential clients. The incumbent willdesign persuasive approaches and proposals to convert potentialclients into business customers by presenting new solutions andservices to clients, you will develop and maintain existingaccounts.

    DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Meetindividual set KPAs
    • Prospectfor potential clients and convert them into increased businessopportunities.
    • Contactpotential clients to establish rapport and arrangemeetings.
    • Presentnew products and services to improve existingrelationships.
    • Planand oversee new marketinginitiatives.
    • Developquotes and proposals forclients.
    • Researchorganizations and individuals to find newopportunities.
    • Developgoals for the development team and business growth and ensure theyaremet.
    • Findand develop new markets and improvingsales.
    • Engageinternal and externalcontacts.
    • Recognizeopportunities for distribution channels, services, and campaignsthat will result insales.
    • Ensureall levels of staff portray the campus in the bestlight.
    • Researchand cultivate an accurate perception of the organization s missionandgoals.
    • Forecastsales objectives and ensure they are fulfilled by the businessdevelopmentteam.
    • Submitand ensure data is accurate on weekly progressreports.
    • Attendindustry functions, including conferences and association events,and contribute information and feedback on upcoming markettrends.
    • Trainingof personnel and helping team members develop theirskills.
    • Managecampus budget in collaboration with campus financeadministrator.
    • Manageand control campus budget in collaboration withCOM.

    HUMANRESOURCEMANAGEMENT:

    • Initiaterecruitment of new staff, conduct interviews, seek applicable HOExec or Management approval and recommendappointments.
    • Communicatesjob descriptions to all sales employees. Clarify roles andresponsibilities and ensure performance objectives and KPI s areset, agreed, and measured; take corrective action wherenecessary.
    • Givefeedback to staff on performance anddevelopment.
    • Manageall Labour Relations in line with the applicable policies andprocedures in consultation with applicable line Manager atHO.
    • Manageall employees leave records in line with the applicable policiesandprocedures.
    • Managethe legal requirements and policies and procedures for all foreignemployees oncampus.


    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 3- 5 yearssales or business development management of a business unitPREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WITH TERTIARY EDUCATION INDUSTRYEXPERIENCE
    • Sales/Marketingqualification
    • Successful,proven sales trackrecord
    • ICT/IT knowledge or educationpreferable
    • Fluencyin Afrikaans or second languagepreferable
