Opportunity

JoinShorooq Partners for a Program Intern, part of SHFT You will beexposed to the MENAPT fast-growing startup ecosystem and ourportfolio You ll be in a unique position to support the developmentand delivery of key ecosystem programs and initiatives for the firmand our portfolio

Inaddition to the learning and exposure, you will get the chance towork with a driven team that has a positive, can-do The ProgramsIntern will support the Programs Manager in executing ecosystembuilding programs and initiatives under SHFT and identifyingbusiness opportunities for the firm and our portfolio

Requirements

Asa programs intern, youll needto:

• Supportcommunity engagement for our portfolio companies across relevantprograms and Identifying requirements and coordinating with thePrograms Manager to support and action on portfoliorequirements
  
• Leadon developing sectoral studies to understand emerging trends andopportunities and identify business growth opportunities throughpartnerships orinitiatives
  
• Supporton maintaining operations and software utilized in running theprogram and coordinate with relevant partners, startups and teammembers asrequired
  
• Researchthe regional and global ecosystems and stakeholders to identify andsource potential partnership opportunities
  
• Coordinatewith the Program Manager on data collection and reporting tomeasure and analyze program performance as well as develop insightsand suggestions forimprovement
  

QualificationsandRequirements:

-University Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Scienceor relevanteducation

-Interest in startups, incubator and accelerator programs, workshopsandtraining

-Knowledge of the startup ecosystem andstakeholders

-Interest to develop sector-focused knowledge, research and dataanalysis

-Self-starter with entrepreneurial vision, criticalthinking

-Innovative and creative mindset, very organized, good presentationskills
