Position's Mission:
Marketing Officer will be involved in developing marketing campaigns to promote products and services of the college. The Business Development aspect of the role requires proactively and systematically pursuing, adding new partners and new business opportunities.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend exhibitions, campaigns, conferences and other business functions to keep abreast of developments in the marketplace, to find potential new business, and to promote and market organization's solutions
  • Execute marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Generate leads from private and public high school visits
  • Visit schools and education events in the region to promote business and attract students
  • Support students with the required admissions documents
  • Support the implementation of digital activity, including social media, to support marketing strategy
  • Create, coordinate and distribute content (written text, video, audio etc.) to increase awareness and interest in the programs and activities of the college
  • Act as liaisons between the media, suppliers, and clients
  • Focus on both business growth and client retention
  • Attend exhibitions, campaigns, conferences and other business functions to keep abreast of developments in the marketplace, to find potential new business, and to promote and market organization's solutions
  • Collect students' survey


  • Assist Manager

  • Marketing and Student Recruitment in developing new ideas for reaching end user markets using the resources and technology available
  • Attend to customers' queries and provide appropriate solutions
  • Interface with existing strategic customers to solidify mutual expectations of performance and growth
  • Counsel prospective students and conduct campus tour
  • Consistently meet recruitment targets
  • Coordinate marketing promotional events and exhibitions
  • Coordinate meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and organizing requirements; establishing contacts; develop schedules and assignments; create and manage mailing lists

Academic Qualifications:
A Diploma is required; Bachelor's degree in Marketing or any related field from an accredited College/University is preferable


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Goal oriented and highly ethical
  • Knowledge of Higher Education sector or target audience
  • Expertise in MS Office, CRM and ERP
  • Expertise in content management
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a multicultural environment and to cope with pressure in a positive manner while working to deadlines within a busy and demanding environment
  • Must be accurate and pay close attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills

Experience:

3-5 years work experience in a similar position.
