    We are seeking a renowned hospital for a Consultant Otology ENT for the Dubai location.

    Job Summary

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in diagnosing and treating a wide range of ear disorders. This role involves providing comprehensive otological care, including surgical interventions, to patients of all ages.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and diagnoses.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
    • Perform a full range of otological surgical procedures, including:
      • Cholesteatoma ear surgeries
      • Tympanoplasty with ossicular chain reconstruction (ossiculoplasty)
      • Mastoidectomy/tympanomastoidectomy/mastoid obliteration
      • Cochlear implants
      • Stapedotomy/Stapedectomy
      • Bone Anchored Hearing Aids (BAHA)
      • Bonebridge implants
      • CSF otorrhoea repair
      • Endolymphatic sac decompression for Meniere's disease
      • Exostosis canaloplasty
      • Facial nerve decompression/facial nerve reconstruction
      • Fistula repair
    • Provide pre- and postoperative care, including patient education and counseling.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
    • Participate in research and academic activities.

    Requirements

    To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

    • MBBS/MBChB or equivalent qualification.
    • FRCPath or equivalent qualification (Tier 1).
    • Full registration as a consultant (or eligible for registration within six months of interview).
    • 5 years of experience in the same capacity.
    • Clinical and academic experience in a known university hospital.
    • Extensive experience in otological surgery.
    • Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Experience in teaching and mentoring residents and fellows.
    • Advanced training in specific areas of otology.
