    Description
      • Manage andoperate the hotel's telephone switchboardefficiently.
      • Answer all incoming calls promptlyand professionally, following established protocols andstandards.
      • Direct calls to the appropriatedepartment orindividual.
    • GuestServices:
      • Provide a warm and welcomingexperience to guests during phoneinteractions.
      • Assist guests with inquiries,requests, and information related to the hotel's facilitiesand services.
      • Handle wake-up calls, roomservice orders, and other guest requests through thephone.
    • CommunicationCoordination:
      • Coordinate with other hoteldepartments to ensure effective communication and guestsatisfaction.
      • Relay messages accurately andpromptly between guests and hotelstaff.
    • TechnologyManagement:
      • Operate and maintaintelecommunication equipment andsystems.
      • Troubleshoot basic technical issuesand escalate problems to the Telecommunications Manager whennecessary.
    • EmergencyResponse:
      • Act as a communication hub duringemergencies, ensuring effective and timely dissemination ofinformation.
      • Follow established emergencyprocedures and assist in coordinating responseefforts.
    • QualityAssurance:
      • Uphold high standards ofprofessionalism, courtesy, and efficiency in allcommunications.
      • Monitor and maintain thequality of phone services to meet or exceed guestexpectations.
    • RecordKeeping:
      • Keep detailed and accurate records ofguest interactions and requests.
      • Generatereports as required by the Telecommunications Manager or otherhotelmanagement.

    Qualifications

    Highschool diploma or equivalent.

    • Previous experience in atelecommunications or customer service role ispreferred.
    • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in usingtelephone systems and basic computerapplications.
    • Ability to remain calm andfocused during high-pressure situations.
    • Strongproblem-solving skills and attention todetail.
