Description

Accountant is responsible for overseeing the preparation of all financial documents related to the company to implementing financial strategies created by management and is expected to Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role.

Role Overview (What is the value added by this role; the overall aim)To provide Financial and Accounting services to the organization to facilitate day to day finance and accounts operations, to perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls etc.

Timely Preparation of Payment vouchers and process it for management approval.
Work closely with Farm and Horse Managers for their routine operations requirement.
Recording of vendor invoices and reconciliation of vendor accounts.

Preparation of monthly cash flow report for all the expenses, head wise and other routine adhoc reports required by management.

Preparation and disbursement of monthly salaries to the farms staff.
Preform month end accounting entries like depreciation calculation, recurring expense booking and prepayment schedules.
Monitoring of stock items and regular inventory count for horses, agriculture items.
Maintaining fixed asset register.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Funds management of bank and cash in hand.
Handling petty cash.
Timely recording of all the financial data in the accounting system.
Reconciliation of inter-company transactionsFollow-up of overdue aged receivables of the contracting companies on regular basis.
