Job Title:
Maintenance Manager

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in mechanical Engineering
Experience: 5 years in production lines maintenance preferably in Flour/ Grain Mill


Responsibilities

  • Managing the preventive maintenance cycle in coordination with the Production department to ensure minimum downtime
  • Effective handling of all emergency maintenance needs
  • Responsible for the smooth operation of all equipment
  • Management of the Maintenance team incl the recruitment, retention, and development of mechanics, engineers, and workers
  • Reviewing, planning, and replenishing equipment, parts, and tools as needed.
  • Maintaining minimum stock levels as per operations requirements, ensuring maximum availability.
  • Sourcing suppliers and negotiating contracts for parts, equipment, and services
  • Managing all service contracts for parts and equipment.
  • Budgeting annual expenditure, including investment in new equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

Minimum Experience:


  • Maintenance Management for 5 years
  • Professional Experience in Factory/Production Line
  • Project Management
  • Prior experience in Flour/Grain mills

Functional Knowledge:


  • Thorough knowledge of production processes
  • Good understanding of the maintenance process
  • Knowledge of factories and production lines
  • Understanding of quality control measures and standards
