    Description

    Job Purpose

    Responsible for implementing Training strategies and programs that support the company's business goals by standardising, documenting, budgeting for managing technical training across the organization, ensuring that all employees have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.

    Key Result Areas

    1. Develop and implement a strategic training plan to address the technical training needs of the workforce, aligned with the company's technical goals and objectives by understanding the current technical landscape, identifying training needs, creating training materials, and developing delivery methods.
    2. Manage a library of technical training materials, including manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and hands-on exercises and ensure that materials are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
    3. Create structured training programs that align with the company's technical goals and objectives, ensuring that employees stay current with industry trends and best practices by utilizing a variety of delivery methods, including in-person, virtual, and self-paced e-learning.
    4. Conduct and deliver technical training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees by facilitating effective learning through engaging and interactive delivery.
    5. Establish and implement assessment methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs and adjust content as needed to meet evolving needs by ensuring that training programs are meeting the needs of the organization and its employees.
    6. Manage training resources, including budgets, equipment, and external training providers, to ensure efficient and effective training delivery.
    7. Lead a team of technical trainers and support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities by fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
    8. Ensure that technical training programs adhere to industry standards, by staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends to update training programs as needed, ensuring that technical staff remains at the cutting edge and motivated by through program certifications.
    9. Generate and provide regular reports on training program effectiveness, employee progress, and other relevant metrics to senior management informed decision-making and support continuous improvement.

    Education Qualification:

    • Relevant Bachelor's degree

    Work Experience:

    • Minimum 7 years' experience in Training and Devlopment

    • Ability to communicate effectively with all organisational levels.
    • Achievement orientated and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Ability to understand business needs and anticipate future problems/risk, develop simple and effective solutions.
    • Ability to develop relationship with business leaders, act as a trusted advisor
