- Develops, maintains, and strengthens business relationships with fleet customers, government departments and explores business opportunities with them to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction standards.
- Ensures achievement of the budgeted gross profits for the fleet department for Great Wall Motors, Haval, and TANK.
- Calls on and visits target accounts alone or with his team to introduce the company's products.
- Evaluates customer requirements and needs and negotiates with the customers to finalize the deal.
- Keeps UpToDate with tender requirements, attends bids proposals and ensures requirements are met to close the deal.
- Maintain personal contact with the fleet accounts to solicit, acquire and maintain business relationships.
- Provides fleet status reports (daily, weekly, monthly) as and when required by the Brand Manager to ensure necessary actions are taken.
- Must lead, plan & organise the fleet team in different branches and to make sure they follow the pan to achieve the maximum sales results.
- Ensure that his team is following the delivery process requirements are met to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintains a fleet tracking system to maintain an up-to-date customer profile and contact status to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat or referral business.
- Monitors fleet customer needs and service requirements and coordinates with the Brand Manager to ensure that customer requirements are attended to.
- Keeps himself knowledgeable with product information, features, market/competitor information to provide the necessary information to customers and aid them in their buying decisions.
- Provides feedback to Brand Manager on market conditions, competitive products, policies, distribution activities, advertising initiatives etc., that will aid decisions on sales strategies.
- Diploma / bachelor's degree / Business Management, preferably in Automotive Industry.
- Experience 8 years of sales experience within the automotive industry gained through progressive roles, out of which 3 years must involve supervisory sales operations and team leading.
- Valid UAE Driving License, manual license an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation skills and influencing skills.
- Strong knowledge of UAE car market including Light Commercial Vehicles.
- Sound financial awareness and business acumen
- Relationship Management Skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Written and verbal communication in English with Arabic an advantage. (other regionally spoken languages would be an added benefit)
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel
