- Supervising theday-to-day operations of the administrative department and staffmembers.
- Hiring, training, and evaluatingemployees and taking corrective action whennecessary.
- Developing, reviewing, and improvingadministrative systems, policies, andprocedures.
- Ensuring the office is stocked withnecessary supplies and that all equipment is working and properlymaintained.
- Working with the accounting andmanagement teams to set budgets, monitor spending, and processpayroll and other expenses.
- Planning,scheduling, and promoting office events, including meetings,conferences, interviews, orientations, and trainingsessions.
- Collecting, organizing, and storinginformation using computers and filingsystems.
- Overseeing special projects andtracking progress towards companygoals.
- Building and expanding on skills byengaging in educationalopportunities.
