A government entity in Dubai arelooking a Principal Environmental Research Specialist to join theirDepartment of Air Environment Sustainability and EnvironmentalAssessment. With the main objective to provide expertise andtechnical advice to those concerned in the department on all issuesrelated to environmental issues and providing appropriate solutionsupon request. Candidate must have more than 10 years of relevantexperience.

Main Job Functions:

• Providing expertise andtechnical advice to those concerned in the department on all issuesrelated to environmental issues and providing appropriate solutionsupon request.
• Conducting technical studies andresearch in the field of air environment noise and electromagneticradiation for sustainable environmental planningpurposes.
• Studying the air environment andlevels of noise pollution and electromagnetic radiation at thelevel in accordance with the approved standards determinants andrequirements.
• Conducting specialized studieson the types of soils and preparing appropriate regulations andstandards to develop methods of exploitation and preservation frompollution.
• Assessment of the environmentalimpact resulting from the exploitation of naturalresources.
• Develop environmental regulationspolicies and standards for the exploitation of natural resources toreach the optimal use of these resources and protect them fromdepletion and pollution in accordance with international standardsand specifications.
• Coordination withgovernmental and private institutions and bodies concerned withenvironmental issues and strategies in order to exchangeinformation and joint experiences in this regard.
• Preparing periodic reports on the work that has beenaccomplished and indicating the problems that have been faced andthe appropriate solutions to address them.
• Implement all tasks and responsibilities entrusted inaccordance with the security and confidentiality policy ofinformation approved by the department and within the limits of thepowers granted.
