- Consistently offer professional,friendly and engaging service.
- Ensure promptand courteous service is extended to both internal and externalcustomers.
- Ensure the achievement of salesobjectives on a monthly, quarterly and yearlybasis.
- Solicit group, transient and/or banquetbusiness through action plan preparation andexecution.
- Establish parameters, quotes andnegotiate prices, confirming by writtencontracts.
- Participate in tradeshows,conventions and promotional events within the hotel and traderelated organizations.
- Maintain accounts,contact, activity and business details within the appropriatesoftware applications.
- Work closely withCatering and Front Office to ensure all details of the contractwere delivered and guests departsatisfied.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterlyand annual reports, as required.
- Balanceoperational, administrative and Colleagueneeds.
- Follow departmental policies andprocedures.
- Assists with other responsibilitiesand duties in the absence of a team members or other tasks assignedby the manager.
- Follows all policies andprocedures ascertained by the hotel.
- Previous Sales experiencerequired
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windowapplications required.
- Excellent communicationskills, both written and verbalrequired.
- Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities.
- Highly responsible &reliable.
- Ability to focus attention on guestneeds, remaining calm and courteous at alltimes.
