    • Consistently offer professional,friendly and engaging service.
    • Ensure promptand courteous service is extended to both internal and externalcustomers.
    • Ensure the achievement of salesobjectives on a monthly, quarterly and yearlybasis.
    • Solicit group, transient and/or banquetbusiness through action plan preparation andexecution.
    • Establish parameters, quotes andnegotiate prices, confirming by writtencontracts.
    • Participate in tradeshows,conventions and promotional events within the hotel and traderelated organizations.
    • Maintain accounts,contact, activity and business details within the appropriatesoftware applications.
    • Work closely withCatering and Front Office to ensure all details of the contractwere delivered and guests departsatisfied.
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterlyand annual reports, as required.
    • Balanceoperational, administrative and Colleagueneeds.
    • Follow departmental policies andprocedures.
    • Assists with other responsibilitiesand duties in the absence of a team members or other tasks assignedby the manager.
    • Follows all policies andprocedures ascertained by the hotel.

    Qualifications

    • Previous Sales experiencerequired
    • Computer literate in Microsoft Windowapplications required.
    • Excellent communicationskills, both written and verbalrequired.
    • Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities.
    • Highly responsible &reliable.
    • Ability to focus attention on guestneeds, remaining calm and courteous at alltimes.
